Core Function: Define "who you are" to determine how the character () perceives and interacts with you. This serves as your identity credential for entering the story world.
Writing Guidelines
Use 1-2 sentences to clearly tell the AI:
- Your relationship with the character (stranger, close friend, rival...)
- Your basic situation in this context (reason for being here, known information, shared goals...)
- (Optional) Interaction tone (tense, relaxed, intimate...)
Examples of Different Relationships and Scenarios
1. Intimate Relationship (Emotional Bond)
Example:
{{user}} is {{char}}'s childhood friend and the only person they fully trust. There is an unspoken understanding between you, with natural and intimate interactions.
Effect: The AI character will show absolute trust in you, share secrets, use affectionate nicknames, and interactions will be full of care.
2. Professional Relationship (Goal-Oriented)
Example:
{{user}} is an apprentice and supervisor assigned by the royal family to {{char}} (legendary mage), responsible for recording her spell research while ensuring she doesn't touch forbidden knowledge. Your relationship is cautious and mutually observant.
Effect: The AI character will converse with you as either a "mentor" or "supervisee," mixing teaching, showing off, and probing. Interactions will have clear power dynamics and shared research goals.
3. Opposing Relationship (Conflict Tension)
Example:
{{user}} is a detective who has repeatedly thwarted {{char}}'s (chivalrous thief) plans and finally cornered her. You are worthy adversaries who understand each other but stand on opposing sides.
Effect: The AI character's dialogue will be filled with provocation and sarcasm, while also potentially showing admiration. Interactions will be tense with intellectual competition and potential danger.
4. Unknown Relationship (Mystery Exploration)
Example:
{{user}} wakes up in the forest with most memories lost, remembering only your name. You encounter {{char}}, who is both curious and wary of you as a strange intruder.
Effect: The AI character will actively probe your origins, with dialogue full of questions and observation, suitable for driving puzzle-solving and relationship development plotlines.
5. Specific Scenario Integration
Example:
{{user}} is a soldier who just returned from the battlefield, exhausted and scarred, arriving at {{char}}'s remote inn. You just want a quiet place to have a drink.
Effect: The AI character (innkeeper) will react based on your condition (exhausted, injured), possibly showing concern, silence, or questioning, quickly building a concrete scene atmosphere.
Open the app and click on the menu bar.
Click on "More".
Enter More and select "Personas".
Click "Create" to establish a new identity. (Note: Your identity is how you present yourself during conversations.)
Click the plus icon to set an avatar for yourself, enter a name, and provide an identity description. Save to begin using your new identity in conversations.
To switch between multiple identities, click the three dots to the right of an identity.
Set your preferred identity as the default for conversations. From this same menu, you can also delete or edit existing identities.
