Overview

This guide will help you completely install and configure Google TTS (Text-to-Speech) service on Android devices. The entire process is divided into two main steps:

Step 1: Install Google Services Suite (Google Services Framework, Google Play Services, Google Play Store)
Step 2: Download and configure Google TTS speech engine

Why are these two steps necessary?
Google TTS relies on the complete Google Services framework to function properly. You must first install the Google Services Suite before you can download and use the full-featured TTS service from Google Play Store.

Note: Over time, some methods may become obsolete. Please carefully evaluate and choose the appropriate solution.

Step 1: Install Google Services Suite

What is the Google Services Suite?

The Google Services Suite consists of essential components required for Android devices to use Google services:

  • Google Services Framework: Provides underlying support for Google services

Installation Steps

Step 1: Install Google Services Framework

  1. Visit APKMirror - Google Services Framework: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-services-framework/

  4. Note: No desktop icon will appear after installation - this is normal

  4. Troubleshooting: If you encounter black screen or crashes, uninstall the current version and try other compatible versions

Method 2: Flash Open GApps

  • Users with custom ROM experience
  • Users with third-party Recovery environment

Prerequisites

  • Device bootloader is unlocked
  • Third-party Recovery installed (such as TWRP, CWM)
  • Basic knowledge of custom ROM flashing

Operation Steps

  1. Download Open GApps Package

    • Visit Open GApps official website: https://opengapps.org/
    • Select the corresponding package based on device architecture and Android version (e.g., ARM64, Android 10)
    • Download the complete ZIP package

  2. Prepare for Flashing

    • Copy the downloaded ZIP file to the phone's storage root directory
    • No need to extract

  3. Enter Recovery Mode

    • Press and hold Power button + Volume key combination while the device is off
    • Enter third-party Recovery interface

  4. Execute Flashing

    • Select "Install" → "Choose zip from /sdcard"
    • Find the GApps package and confirm flashing

  5. Reboot System

Operation Steps

  1. Download Sandbox Application

    • Search for "出境易" (Exit Easy) or similar virtual environment software in app stores

  2. Configure Virtual Environment

    • Open the sandbox software
    • Create an independent virtual space

  3. Install Google Services

    • Follow Method 1 steps within the virtual environment
    • Manually download and install Google Services Suite

Method 4: Samsung China Exclusive Method

Operation Process

  1. Enable Built-in Services

    • Open "Settings" → "Accounts and backup" → "Manage accounts"

Step 2: Install and Configure Google TTS
