1. Local Data Storage

The Application employs a fully localized storage strategy. The following data is stored solely on your device and will not be uploaded to any server:

  • Personalized settings and preferences
  • API key information
  • User-created role data
  • Other application-related configurations

Your Rights: You may delete the above data at any time through device settings or in-app functions.

2. Data Transmission

When you use the AI chat features, the following data is transmitted directly from your device to the AI provider you have configured (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint you specify). Tavo does not operate a backend server that stores or relays this content.

What is transmitted:

  • Your messages
  • Conversation history (for context continuity)
  • Character and persona configuration
  • Lorebook entries you have created or imported
  • Presets and system prompts
  • Long-term memory content
  • Model parameters (e.g., temperature, max tokens)

Authentication: Your API key is used only to authenticate the request to the provider you selected. It is stored locally on your device and never sent to Tavo's servers.

Transport security: All requests use HTTPS encryption.

Third-party responsibility: Once data reaches the AI provider, it is governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms of service. We recommend reviewing them (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) before use.


II. Third-Party Services

Third-party services integrated into the Application (e.g., AI interfaces) are independently provided by external suppliers. Please note:

  • You must independently agree to and comply with the third-party terms of service and privacy policies.
  • We cannot control third-party data processing practices. We recommend evaluating their security cautiously.
  • If you do not wish your data to be transmitted to third parties, you may discontinue using related features.

III. Policy Updates and Notifications

1.We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be announced via in-app pop-ups or on the official website.

2.Significant changes (e.g., changes to data usage purposes) will be published on the official website or within the Application.

3.Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
